Amateur Radio License Exam Session will be held in the Community Room of the Salvation Army in Tehachapi, CA.
Following a damaging earthquake, the California Post-Earthquake Clearinghouse is a location where engineers, geologists, seismologists, sociologists, economists, and other professionals who arrive in the affected area can become part of a larger, temporary organization (the Clearinghouse) to facilitate and coordinate the gathering of information and maximize its availability.
Hamvention will be held May 20, 21 and 22, 2022 at the Greene County Fairgrounds and Expo Center in Xenia, OH.
The Cal OES Earthquake Program is providing NEHRP funding to the Disaster Resistant Business Toolkit to host 2 webinars, the first on May 10, 2022 and the second on May 25, 2022, to provide businesses with a tool to prepare for earthquakes and reduce potential earthquake impacts. Field Day is ham radio's open house. Every June, more than 40,000 hams throughout North America set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio's science, skill and service to our communities and our nation. It combines public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach, and technical skills all in a single event. Field Day has been an annual event since 1933, and remains the most popular event in ham radio.
