The Tehachapi Amateur Radio Association meets informally every Wednesday afternoon for lunch at 1:00 PM. We affectionately call it "Wireless Wednesday" — and we'd love to have you join us!
Whether you're a seasoned ham, a curious newcomer, or just looking for great conversation over a good meal, you are welcome at the table. We talk radio, emergency preparedness, licensing, and everything in between.
The Tehachapi Amateur Radio Association (AC6EE) brings together amateur radio operators from Tehachapi, Bear Valley Springs, Stallion Springs, Alpine Forest, Sand Canyon, and beyond. We are proudly affiliated with the ARRL.
Our members enjoy DXing, emergency communications (EmComm), SOTA, ARRL Field Day, public service events, licensing education, and the pure joy of experimenting with radio technology high in the Tehachapi Mountains.
In 2025 alone, 19 community members obtained or upgraded their amateur radio license. We look forward to helping even more people discover ham radio in 2026!
